Kali is God in her aspect of Nature – Cosmic Mother In Hindu Art she is represented with four arms.
One arm symbolizes her power of creation.
The second arm her universal principal of preservation.
The third is the purifying forces of disillusion and destruction.
And the fourth arm is an outstretched hand of in a gesture of blessing and salvation.
